4.10.14: Each year I try to get down to the Tidal Basin for a run while the cherry blossoms are at their peak bloom. Things are usually pretty chaotic immediately around the Tidal Basin, forcing you to do what I like to call the “Tourist Slalom” just to get past the crowd. Running down Ohio drive, also lined with cherry blossom trees, tends to be a little less busy. This allows for some better close-up shots of the trees. Not a bad way to run five miles!
